The Carrera Solidaria Almodóvar del Campo is a short charity road race in Almodóvar del Campo, focused on local participation and fundraising rather than a long-distance challenge. The main race covers a 3-kilometer urban circuit that the town council describes as difficult, and recent editions have seen around 200 participants. Entry fees contribute to the donation fund, with beneficiaries such as the Spanish Association Against Cancer and, at other times, the Red Cross.
The race begins and ends near the Plaza Mayor, returning to its central-town location, which offers spectators a convenient viewing spot. The City Council organizes the event with the Trail Alcudia Almodóvar club. It has been held annually since 2012 with a distinct charitable aim from its inception. Local runners, category racers, and club athletes compete together; winners acknowledged by the organizers include Carlos Jiménez Lozano, Almudena Culebras García, and Andy Morales, along with local category honorees like Barragán and Bermejo.
