Competición de Montaña JPG20 is a Spanish mountain running series held in the Parque Natural de Mágina, attracting 600 participants from across the country. The event centers on two demanding races: a Vertical Kilometer starting in Albanchez de Mágina and the Mágina Sky Race originating in Torres de Mágina.
The Vertical Kilometer covers almost 1,000 meters of elevation gain in just 2.7 kilometers, concluding atop Pico Aznaitín at 1,745 meters. Participants begin individually, with staggered starts every 15 seconds for regular runners and one minute intervals for elite athletes. The Sky Race presents a greater challenge: a 28-kilometer point-to-point course featuring 2,250 meters of ascent. It commences with a steep ascent through Torres de Mágina's streets before transitioning to a trail leading toward Cerro de la Vieja.
