Cros de Santa Susanna is a cross-country running race in Santa Susanna, located on the Maresme coast near Barcelona, taking place on the last weekend of October. It frequently serves as the opening event for the Circuit Maresmenc de Cros, a local cross-country league organized with Gesport, the Consell Esportiu del Maresme, and municipal councils from the area. The circuit typically comprises 7 to 9 races across various Maresme municipalities, positioning Santa Susanna as one point in a season-long competition rather than an isolated event.
The race welcomes both federated and non-federated runners, with clubs and individual participants following the same schedule. Over 25 editions of the Santa Susanna race have been completed, and the circuit attracts close to 3,800 participants annually, with registrations increasing by approximately 15% each year. A notable aspect of the event is its unified registration process: participants register once, receive a bib with an embedded chip at their initial race, and then use the same bib for all subsequent circuit races they enter.
