Cursa de Nadalt is a short vertical trail race held in Sant Pere de Torelló, Osona, around the Christmas holidays. Participants run 3.8 km, with the focus on the ascent: 620 metres of positive elevation gain in a time-trial format, making it a demanding uphill test rather than a typical road race.
The course begins in the town square of Sant Pere de Torelló and ascends the old path towards the Sanctuary of Bellmunt, situated above the interior of Barcelona province. This event is connected to Catalonia’s Christmas racing tradition and has completed 14 editions, attracting up to 374 runners on Saint Stephen’s Day.
