Cursa Vistabella is a mountain trail race held in Vistabella del Maestrat, Castellon, within Spain's Valencian Community. Typically occurring at the end of July, it offers two distances: a 10 km race and a 27 km route, which is a UTMB Index race. The 27 km option is the primary attraction, categorized in the 20k class, providing participants with a challenging mountain path experience.
The race crosses Penyagolosa Natural Park, utilizing natural trails instead of paved roads. The long course measures approximately 27.5 km with around 1,500 meters of elevation gain, making it suitable for runners seeking a demanding mountain run over a fast, flat course. Club de Muntanya organizes the event, also known as Cursa Muntanya Vistabella. Having reached at least its fifteenth edition, the event caters not only to runners but also to families and friends attending the race weekend.
