Duatlón Mendizabala Juegos Escolares Araba 25/26

Duatlón Mendizabala is a school-age duathlon held in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Araba-Álava, starting at the Mendizabala car park. It is part of Juegos Escolares Araba and organized by Federación Alavesa de Triatlón - Arabako Triatloi Federazioa. The format involves children running, cycling, and running again, with distinct starts for Prebenjamín, Benjamín, Alevín, Infantil, and Cadete age groups. It is noted as non-competitive, emphasizing participation and age-appropriate racing over winning. The course utilizes three segments of 520 m, 660 m, and 1600 m, combined differently for each category. The youngest Prebenjamín participants complete 250 m running, 1 km cycling, and a final 125 m run. Benjamín athletes cover 500 m, 2 km, and 250 m.
