Etxera Lasterketa Herrikoia 2026

Etxera Lasterketa Herrikoia is a 6.6 km race in Oiartzun, Gipuzkoa, held on New Year's Eve. It begins and ends in the Town Hall Square. Children race in the morning, followed by the adult field. The route departs the square, passing through Oiartzun’s neighborhoods of Ergoien, Altzibar, Iturriozt, and Ugaldetxo. Runners encounter downhill sections early, climbs toward the finish, and flatter parts for faster pacing. The race follows the Elkartasun Lasterketa. A recent edition saw 121 finishers, with 42 classified women. Hodei Lujanbio won overall, Amagoia Iribar led the women, and Garikoitz López Intxausti was the first local finisher.
