Eurafrica Trail 2026

Eurafrica Trail is a mountain-running race around the Strait of Gibraltar, conceived from the idea of holding a cross-country event on two continents. It originated in Algeciras, with organizers aiming for runners to appreciate the natural heritage of their city and the surrounding region. The race connects the European and African sides of the strait. The first intercontinental edition concluded with a party in the kasbah of Chefchaouen. Mountain runners are the primary participants, and the organizers focus the event on sport, respect for nature, and cultural exchange, rather than solely on finishing times.
