Final Encuentro Interprovincial Escolar de CXM 2026

The Final Encuentro Interprovincial Escolar de CXM is a school-age mountain running event in Alcalá la Real, Jaén, taking place in the Los Llanos peri-urban park. It is designed for young runners, with categories ranging from Prebenjamín to Cadete, and some races designated as non-competitive. The distances increase with age: Prebenjamín covers 1,380 meters, Benjamín 2.9 km, Alevín 4.3 km, Infantil 5.5 km, and Cadete 11.3 km. These races assess both physical condition and technical skill, important in CXM as young athletes develop their ability to navigate varied terrain and manage their speed. FADMES coordinates the event with assistance from Alcalá la Real’s sports department, Club Sierra Sur Jaén, and Teamergy. The trophy presentation includes local sports officials and club representatives.
