Langostino Trail 2026

Langostino Trail is a 15 km beach race in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, on Spain’s Atlantic coast near the mouth of the Guadalquivir. Runners start on the sand and spend the race dealing with the softer, shifting surface of Sanlúcar’s beaches. The Asociación Deportiva Guadalquivir organizes the event, now in its seventh edition. The distance is not unusual, but the footing changes everything: sand affects stride length, rhythm, and how hard each push-off feels compared with a normal road race.
