Marathon Alpin de Madrid (Maratón Alpino Madrileño) 2026

The Marathon Alpin de Madrid is a mountain trail race held in Cercedilla, a town within Spain’s Community of Madrid, located in the Sierra de Guadarrama. Taking place in June, the primary Maratón Alpino Madrileño spans 44 km with 5,800 m of elevation gain, presenting a demanding mountain day rather than a road marathon. The course follows winding trails through meadows and forests above Cercedilla. The Guadarrama mountains lend the race an alpine character, despite its proximity to Madrid. The event also includes the Cross Alpino del Telégrafo, a 19 km race with 1,960 m of climbing.
