Milla Nocturna del Drac de Poblenou is a night mile on the Barcelona seafront, covering 1,609 metres of running connected to Poblenou’s local festival culture. It takes place on a Wednesday evening in September, with activities commencing at 7 PM, and is designed for participants of many ages, not exclusively for regular racers.
The route follows the promenade beside the Poblenou beaches, beginning and concluding at the sea end of Rambla del Poblenou. The event offers six race categories: children’s races, distinct adult races for both federated and non-federated runners, an inclusive RODAFOC race for runners with other abilities, and LA FLAMA, a mile suitable for the entire family. The event unites the Colla del Drac del Poblenou and Club d’Atletisme Canaletes-Sant Martí, concluding with music and pyrotechnics.
