San Silvestre Chiclanera is a short, popular road race held in Chiclana de la Frontera, Cádiz, during the Christmas holidays as the town's local San Silvestre event. The distance is approximately 5 to 5.5 km, suited for a quick city run rather than a long-distance challenge. It is part of Chiclana’s Local Circuit of Popular Races and is also listed under the Gran Premio Fibra Sancti Petri banner.
The start and finish are at the Anfiteatro de la Alameda del Río, with the course crossing the most central streets of Chiclana. The Sports Delegation of Chiclana City Council organizes the event, with Club Atletismo Chiclana participating in some editions, supported by Local Police, Civil Protection, and local businesses. The race is in its thirteenth edition, with its local and festive nature: runners participate in an end-of-year run through town, with the Christmas atmosphere contributing as much as the timing.
