Trail Boca del Lobo 2026

Trail Boca del Lobo is a new trail race in Lanzahita, a village in Ávila on the southern side of the Sierra de Gredos. It is run in autumn in the Valle del Tiétar area and offers two mountain-running distances: a 22.6 km route with 834 meters of climbing, and a 12.5 km route with 488 meters of climbing. The race is built around fast, non-technical trails, suitable for runners seeking speed or those new to mountain races. The courses traverse Lanzahita’s mid-mountain terrain, following old paths once used by local resin tappers, now revitalized by events such as this. Lanzahita Town Hall organizes the race with assistance from Club Monte 12, the local mountain club.
