Travesía a Nado Ría de Vigo consists of two summer open-water swims across the Ría de Vigo in Galicia. The shorter crossing is approximately 1 km, connecting Toralla with O Vao, while the more challenging classic route spans nearly 4 km from Moaña to the dock of the Real Club Náutico de Vigo.
Swimming has deep roots in Vigo, and the city hosts several clubs, with Real Club Náutico de Vigo being the most recognized. These ria crossings are two established events within the local swimming tradition: one accessible coastal swim and one longer point-to-point crossing from the opposite side of the inlet back to Vigo’s nautical club dock.
