Triatlón CNSO 2026

Triatlón CNSO is a short-distance triathlon held in Gijón, on Spain's northern Asturian coast. Its race hub is centered at Playa del Arbeyal and Club Natación Santa Olaya. Organized by Club Natación Santa Olaya and the Asturias triathlon federation, it contributes to the Circuito Astur Cántabro de Triatlón. The event follows a Triathlon S format: 750 meters swimming, 20 km road cycling, and 5 km running, typically taking place in late summer or early September. The swim occurs in the protected bay of Playa del Arbeyal, with a buoy-marked course near the club. The cycling segment begins at Paseo del Arbeyal, navigating streets in Gijón's western district. It includes two circuits on roads such as Camin del Regatu and the Campa area, turning near Parque Arqueológico Campa before heading back to transition. The run starts from the Paseo del Arbeyal esplanade, consisting of three laps on a nearly flat 5 km course, allowing spectators to view athletes multiple times before the finish.
