Ultra Dolichos Delphes-Olympie is a 255 km individual ultramarathon in Greece, beginning at the archaeological site of Delphi and concluding within the stadium of Ancient Olympia. Participants are allotted 48 hours to finish, and applicants must demonstrate prior endurance experience suitable for this distance. The event has been held annually since 2012, organized by the athletic club OLYMPIOI and the Dolicho Organising Committee.
The route connects two significant ancient Greek locations, including the Rio-Antirrio bridge between Delphi and Olympia. Approximately 60% of the course consists of dirt roads, forest tracks, and footpaths, with the remaining 40% on asphalt, presenting runners with both mountain and road conditions. The race draws its name and concept from the ancient dolichos endurance contests, and also acknowledges the messengers who conveyed news or traveled to participate in the Olympic Games.
