Ultra Sanabria 2026

Ultra Sanabria is a mountain trail race series in Zamora, Spain’s Castile and Leon region. It is centered on Lake Sanabria Natural Park and the adjacent Sierras Segundera and Porto. The series provides single-day trail distances and multi-stage ultra options. Participants can select from 20 km or 32 km races, or opt for longer formats of 42 km, 62 km, 110 km, and 215 km, which span multiple stages. The courses follow park trails surrounding Lago de Sanabria, Spain’s largest natural lake. The longer races transform the event into a stage-running journey through high mountain terrain, differing from a single continuous effort. The Glacier Race constitutes the ultra-trail portion of the series.
