Volta a l'Ombria d'Artana 2026

The Volta a l'Ombria d'Artana begins and ends in Plaza de la Generalitat, next to the schools in Artana, Castellon. This July mountain race takes place early in the morning. The main route covers approximately 15.5 to 16.5 kilometers with about 800 meters of elevation gain. The format is a challenging local trail race, not a road race, with a noon cutoff time for completion. The race is organized by Artana Amunt i Avall and the Artana town council. It had reached at least its ninth edition. Runners pick up bibs before the start at the schools on the same square, then proceed onto a hilly course set around the Ombria area of Artana. The event includes refreshments, timing, medical support, changing facilities, showers, a runner's bag, and trophies, presenting it as a well-supported mountain race.
