Syyshallit is a Sunday indoor athletics meet at Kupittaan urheiluhalli in Turku, organized by the club Maarian Mahti. It is designed for junior athletes, with age groups from under-9 to under-17, and the program begins in the morning. The competition is a track-and-field event: older groups compete in the 60m and 800m races and shot put. Athletes aged 13 race the 60m and 600m and throw shot put. Those aged 11 also participate in high jump, while the under-9s compete in the 40m and 600m races with long jump. For the 40m and 60m sprints, heats are held if necessary, with the five fastest runners advancing to the final. Participants confirm their entry electronically before each event; late entries can be managed via email or at the competition office.
