Metsä Group Seurakisat 2026

Metsä Group Seurakisat is a nationwide Finnish children’s athletics series for ages 5 to 15, held annually through local club competitions across the country. Over 500 locations host Seurakisat each year, attracting more than 25,000 young participants. Metsä Group is the title partner, collaborating with the Finnish Athletics Federation to provide accessible sports opportunities for children and teenagers. The format is local and family-oriented, not centered on a single large course or elite field. Competition days offer children a secure, positive way to try various athletics events, with parents able to assist as officials. The series focuses on skill development, enjoyment of sport, and integrating regular physical activity into daily life.
