Metsä Group Seurakisat 2026

Metsä Group Seurakisat is a national series of local athletics competitions in Finland for children and young people aged 5 to 15. Over 500 Seurakisat events take place across Finland annually, drawing more than 25,000 participants. Metsä Group is the title partner, and the series is organized with the Finnish Athletics Federation. The format is intentionally local and low-pressure. Children are encouraged to try athletics and other physical activity in a safe, cheerful environment near their homes. The competition days are family events, with parents able to assist in official roles or watch. The partnership aims to provide children and youth with an accessible entry into sport, promote daily well-being, and foster habits for an active life.
