Metsä Group Seurakisat 2026

Each year, over 500 Metsä Group Seurakisat events across Finland offer children and young people an accessible way to try athletics. This national youth athletics program, affiliated with the Finnish Athletics Federation, counts Metsä Group as its title and main partner for children’s athletics. Annually, these events attract over 25,000 participants. Local competitions take place nationwide, rather than focusing on a single course or city route. The series prioritizes participation over elite competition, aiming to help children and young people develop athletic skills, general well-being, and habits for an active lifestyle.
