Metsä Group Seurakisat 2026

Metsä Group Seurakisat is a nationwide Finnish athletics series for children and young people. Local club meets are held annually in over 500 locations across Finland. The series is designed as an accessible way for children to try athletics, compete near their homes, and learn fundamental sports skills, avoiding the impression of an elite-only event. More than 25,000 participants compete in the series each year. Metsä Group is the title partner, with a four-year agreement with the Finnish Athletics Federation supporting children’s and youth athletics. The goal is to provide more young people with access to sport, promote daily well-being, and help establish habits for a healthy, active life.
