Piiriottelu 2026

Piiriottelu is a Finnish district-against-district shooting competition. One version, PS-KS, pits North Savo against Central Finland in air-weapon events, with meetings listed in Suonenjoki and at Sammalselän k. The PS-KS air-weapon match is a winter competition, and Suma Ry has organized editions on its calendar. The programme can include air rifle, air pistol, air moose, and air-rifle-style hunting disciplines, depending on the specific match. A separate LASY-KYMY-EKY Piiriottelu is aimed at young athletes aged 14 to 17, with clubs trying to field at least two, and preferably four, LASY athletes in each discipline. That youth match has a team feel: LASY gathers entries through one contact person, offers a shared bus when available, and talks openly about bringing the traveling trophy back to Lahti.
