Tampere Marathon

The Tampere Marathon offers runners three one-loop road courses in Tampere, Finland: 10.5 km, a half marathon, and the full 42.195 km marathon. It takes place in late August in Pirkanmaa, and includes children's and junior races. The courses remain within the city, passing by Tampere's lakes and ponds, providing more variety than a standard downtown road race. Marathon participants can run individually or as a relay team.
