The 10 km de Castelsarrasin is the main event of the Course de Pâques, an annual road race held in Castelsarrasin, Tarn-et-Garonne, organized by CAC Athlétisme. The event also features a 5 km road race and children’s races. The 5 km begins at 9:00 AM, followed by the 10 km at 10:00 AM. The finish takes place on the track at Stade Alary, lending the race an athletic club atmosphere rather than a simple town-run feel.
The 10 km holds a Regional status, allowing participants to qualify for the French 10 Km Championships, attracting a competitive field beyond the local area. Prize money is awarded to the top three overall finishers: 500 €, 200 €, and 100 € for the 10 km. Additionally, awards are given to the first male and female runners from Castelsarrasin. Registration is available online via Chronostart, with race-day entry possible for an additional fee. A bib-number prize draw includes ten 50 € checks alongside the standard podium prizes.
