The 10 km de Sées is a road race held in early December in Sées, a small town in Orne, Normandy. The primary event is a 10 km race for participants aged 16 and over, alongside a 5 km option officially measured at 4,903 metres. Both adult races commence in the afternoon, with children’s races and a 5 km walk taking place earlier. C.O.F.A.D., the Comité d’Organisation de la Foire aux Dindes, organizes the event, which has been held for over thirty editions.
The 10 km route consists of two laps, and participants must possess a running licence or an official PPS to register. The event includes more than just the main race: there are youth races for ages 6 to 12, and a walk that follows a course opposite to the runners. Recent results indicate separate men's and women's rankings for both the 10 km and 5 km events, highlighting its function as both a competitive local race and a community gathering. An application provides live GPS tracking and a fan zone, enabling supporters to monitor runners in real time.
