Stade Ernest-Wallon serves as the start and finish for the 10 km du Stade, a 10 km road race held in September in Toulouse. Organized by Stade Toulousain Rugby in conjunction with Stade Toulousain Omnisports, the Fonds de Dotation du Stade Toulousain, and iRun, the event connects the city’s rugby club with a public running day. The primary race is open to the public and individuals with disabilities, and children can also participate in the broader event. Its inaugural edition attracted over 5,000 runners, including children and adults, along with 300 babies in the family category.
The course circles Stade Ernest-Wallon and extends into Toulouse city center, utilizing public roads for a portion. The 10 km route features approximately 90 meters of elevation gain, indicating it's a road race with some inclines rather than a simple stadium circuit. The 10 km race begins at 10:00 AM. The event's objective is straightforward: a running race organized by Stade Toulousain for club supporters, local runners, families, and those seeking a city race associated with one of Toulouse's prominent sporting institutions.
