Albatrail starts and finishes at Stade Puech Sabatie in Alban, offering marked loop routes for trail runners and walkers. The series includes four timed trail races: the 61 km Alba Tor with approximately 2,900 m of elevation gain, the 26 km Alba Trail with about 1,300 m, the 14 km Alba Trailhou with roughly 500 m, and the 8 km Alba Trailhounet with around 250 m. The two longer races are for participants over 20, while the shorter races are open to those aged 16 and up, accommodating both licensed and unlicensed runners.
The walks provide a non-competitive option within the event program, with 11 km and 8.5 km routes featuring approximately 360 m and 300 m of climbing, respectively. These walks are open to participants aged 12 and older with parental consent; they are unranked and do not include a prize ceremony. All competitive races are single-stage, free-pace events that are timed and classified. The series is listed on the official calendar of the Tarn off-road racing committee (FFA and Midi-Pyrenees athletics league), and participants can dine on site post-race.
