Les Foulées Bleues DECATHLON

Les Foulées Bleues DECATHLON is an affordable road running and Nordic walking event in Amiens, France, taking place in November as part of the Movember campaign. The event centers on men's health, supporting research and prevention for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention. Modest entry fees, ranging from 5€ to 10€, contribute to the event's community atmosphere. The event features short, flat, fast courses suitable for various participants. Children and juniors have non-timed 1 km, 2 km, and 3 km options. Adults can select non-timed 5 km or 10 km routes, or a timed 5 km run. A unique option allows participants to complete the non-timed 5 km walk and then the timed 5 km run, with 1 hour and 15 minutes between the two. Corporate teams can compete in a challenge, and awareness and prevention activities are available throughout the day.

Courir la Jules Verne - Amiens

Courir la Jules Verne is a city-center running and walking event in Amiens, France, with 10 km and 5 km options. It starts near the Cirque Jules Verne, the century-old landmark that gives the race its name, and draws around 6,000 participants. Runners can enter individually, represent a company or school, or join challenges against colleagues, family members, and classmates. The setup includes starting corrals, aid stations, and pacemakers, suitable for those aiming for a quick time and those joining for the group outing. The route is designed as a fast tour of Amiens, passing major heritage sites rather than anonymous roads. It goes by Amiens Cathedral and the Town Hall, giving the 10 km and 5 km races a clear sense of place within the city. アミアンでのベースマイル

ランニング： 地元の人たちはParc Saint Pierre、Somme川沿い、Hortillonnages近くの運河沿いの道で、軽く走ったりするよ。脚がZ2で気持ちよく走りたいときは、42 kmのルートを走ってるし、プランで「短くシンプルに」ってなってる日は47 km走るかな。ESPRIT RUNってクラブでは、月曜はPPG、火曜はPPS、水曜はVMA、金曜はトレイルかトラックで、週の練習が組まれてるんだ。週末の練習会は、グループで長めの距離を走るのにちょうどいいよ。アミアンのランナー向けのレースカレンダーには、Collecti'run - Amiens、Courir la Jules Verne - Amiens、Amiens urban trail、それと100km de la Somme & Marathon d'Amiens-Métropoleがあるね。

サイクリング： まずおすすめしたいのは、Noye River沿いのループコースだね。Somme川沿いには、アミアンからCamonまで何マイルも続く自転車道があって、passerelles、運河、池、湿地帯とかが次々現れて、飽きずに走れるよ。Noye Riverのループは、村が密集してたり、農地が広がってたりするんだけど、そのあと川の上にある台地へと登っていくんだ。登りの練習は、その台地でやる感じ。特に名前のある丘とか山とかは載ってないからね。地元の人たちは、ここをベースマイルにしたり、しっかりgran fondoの練習に使ったり、雨の後はシクロクロスみたいな走り方もするよ。アミアンには、特に名前が挙がってるサイクリングクラブとか、メインのレースは載ってないんだ。

シーズン： アミアンは、北フランスの天気だと思って、練習プランを柔軟にするのが一番だよ。気候的には、冬は穏やか、夏は涼しいし、雨は年間を通して降る感じ。7月にはCourses des 4 saisons d'été - Amiensってレースがあるから、道がしっかりしてる時期に夏のインターバルとか、速い5 kmの練習をするのはいいと思う。11月にはFinale des 4 Saisons d'Automne d'Amiens Métropoleがあって、冬になると、ランもバイクもZ2での安定した走りとか、濡れた道でのハンドリング、週末のボリューム走にシフトしていく感じかな。地元の人たちは、Parc Saint Pierre、Somme川沿いの道、Noye Riverのループを、ただ重ね着を増やして走り続けてるよ。
