Apollo Trail in Bohal, Morbihan, offers adult runners three trail options through woods and local paths: 27 km, 17 km, and 10 km. The longest route includes 500 meters of climbing, the middle distance has 350 meters, and the 10 km still requires 220 meters, meaning even the short race is not flat. The program also features two children’s races, with 1.2 km for ages 7 to 9 and 1.7 km for ages 10 to 12.
The Bohal course combines faster runnable sections with more technical parts, providing variety beyond a simple forest loop. A recent edition registered 507 athletes, with Guénaël Oliviero and Vanessa Le Métayer both winning the 27 km on their first attempt at the race. The event has a local-race feel, with winners and front runners coming from Breton clubs such as WeeCars Lorient, Brevel’Trail, Oust Sport Nature, and Cima Pays d’Auray.
