The Authentic Barjots Trail is a trail-running event held at the village hall in Pujols, with all races beginning and ending at this location. This year marks the event's 15th edition. To maintain a focused field, most races have a limit of 150 participants. The family trail accommodates 50 child-adult pairs, and the 42 km relay is restricted to 25 teams. Registration is exclusively online; participants require a valid license or a Health Prevention Course certificate, as on-site registration is not available.
The event offers a 2.5 km introductory family trail for children accompanied by an adult, and a 42 km solo race featuring 1,300 m of elevation gain. Two 14 km races are available with 400 m of elevation gain: NUEIT, run at night, and JORN, run during the day. The 25 km ROOTS race includes 700 m of climbing. The 39 km Challenge is divided into two stages over the weekend, with runners using the same bib for both. Relay teams will transition at Château Cablanc in Saint-Pey-de-Castets, located 22 km into the 42 km course.
