Aux Pieds du Roye is a small nature-trail event in Villers-lès-Roye, in the Somme department of northern France. It offers two running distances, 10 km and 17 km, plus a 10 km walk, built for trail runners and walkers rather than only racers chasing a result. The shorter trail has 90 meters of climbing, while the longer one has 150 meters, making the routes rolling but not mountain-style hard.
The courses follow paths and rural tracks through Picardy countryside, with Santerre plains, hedgerows, green spaces, and land near the Avre valley. Les Pieds Nicleys Roye 80 organizes the race, and the event starts out as a first edition rather than a long-running fixture. Runners still get the practical race-day basics: timing, aid stations, toilets, a photographer, a finisher medal, and a finisher gift.
