レースについて
The Bambée Bauzilloise features a main 16 km race consisting of two 8 km loops, totaling 600 m of elevation gain, around Saint-Bauzille-de-Montmel in France's Hérault department. Held in mid-April, it combines trail running, road race categories, hiking, and children's events: an 8 km trail, an 8 km hike, a 1.5 km children's race, and a 550 m children's race.
The 16 km race is for adults. The 8 km trail is open to participants aged 16 and older. The two children's races are free for those aged 11 and 7, respectively. The course crosses the Montpellier hinterland near Pic Saint-Loup and Puech des Mourgues, passing through vineyards and garrigue with undulating terrain, differing from a flat road race. The event began as the first edition by BBambée Bauzilloise, giving it the feel of a community nature and sport gathering rather than a long-standing, large-scale competition.
