Beaujo Run'in Rock 2026

Beaujo Run'in Rock takes runners through Saint-Georges-de-Reneins, a Beaujolais town north of Lyon, in mid-November. This road race has a rock theme, featuring adult distances of 6.66 km (Number of the Beast) and 13 km (Highway to Hell), alongside children's races of 300 m, 666 m, and 1.3 km. The adult courses have approximately 40 m of elevation gain, suggesting a playful rather than punishing event. Children compete in Montchervet park, while adults and families gather in the same rock-party atmosphere. This includes costumes, guitars, crowd noise, a group warm-up, entertainment, and a race village. The refreshment stations even offer a beer stop, aligning with the Beaujolais setting and the event's slogan: “Never without my Beaujo.”
