Bier Run 2027

The Bier Run, known as the Marathon de la Bière, takes place in Montbrison, located in the Forez region of the Loire. This May race weekend centers on beer, running, and a festive atmosphere, offering 10 km, half marathon, and marathon distances to suit participants' fitness levels and preferences. The event emphasizes the recreational aspect of racing. Costumes are welcome, and the course features music, entertainment, and beverage samples. It caters to both competitive runners aiming for personal bests and those participating primarily for the communal enjoyment. Additional activities include a Made in Loire fair, a treasure hunt named La conquête des Chevaliers & Dragons, a large-scale Zumba session, and a Friday evening party called La BOOM du MdB. Organizers claim it is France's first beer marathon.
