Bike and Run de Rochefort 2027

Bike and Run de Rochefort is a late-February bike-and-run event held in Rochefort, Charente-Maritime, on France's Atlantic coast. The primary event is a 15 km race, open to solo participants or duos where one partner runs while the other cycles. Shorter races are also available for children and juniors, with age-group categories for 6-9 and 10-13 year olds, alongside XS and S formats. This structure positions it as a family-oriented race day rather than an adult-exclusive competition. The route incorporates paved roads and stabilized trails, tracing the Rochefort coastline and passing notable maritime sites. Participants will go by the Corderie Royale, the Marine gardens, the marina, the Charente riverbanks, Parc des Fourriers, and the Arsenal. Ligue Générique is the organizer, and the event's on-site arrangements are straightforward and community-focused, featuring rewards for all participants, a refreshment stand, and crepes post-race. Rochefort train station is located just over a kilometre from the start, offering convenient access without a vehicle.
