Two sisters established it after their father, Patrice Blanc, was diagnosed with myeloma, and the race and hike are held in his honor. The name is personal: their father was a village baker for 35 years, so “Bouge tes miches” serves as both a playful encouragement to move and a reference to his profession. On the day, a refreshment stand and a solidarity lasagna sale are also available, reinforcing the connection to the family's story.
