Briv'Ékiden

Briv'Ékiden is a road relay held in mid-October in Brive-la-Gaillarde, Corrèze, Nouvelle-Aquitaine. It follows the Ekiden format, where a team collectively covers the marathon distance, rather than a single runner completing the full 42.195 km. Marketed as the Ekiden de l'Agglo de Brive, the event is designed for runners of all abilities seeking a team challenge over a solo marathon. The course consists of a single 42.195 km loop with minimal elevation gain, approximately 20 metres, making it nearly flat. Participants describe it as a nature-focused road race centered on teamwork and camaraderie, a "shared marathon." The location also encourages exploration of nearby Corrèze and Nouvelle-Aquitaine attractions post-race, such as Rocamadour, Lascaux, Collonges-la-Rouge, and Lac du Causse.
