The Challenge de la Lomagne is a four-round mountain bike series held in November in the Lomagne region of southwest France. The series begins in Mirande, with the start at the agricultural vocational school. Following this, the challenge proceeds to Beaucaire, Cologne, and Polastron. Each race covers 30 km, with registration in the morning, a 9:30 start for competitors, and randonneurs departing shortly after.
The series is exclusively for mountain bikes; gravel and cyclo-cross bikes are prohibited. Electric-assist bikes are permitted only within the randonnée group. Riders holding a license from any federation may compete, and those without a license can participate with a medical certificate. The randonnée options accommodate VTT and VAE riders at their own pace. The Mirande youth routes for benjamins and minimes have been modified to include more time in wooded areas, offering a more engaging experience. Post-race amenities include bike washing, showers, refreshments, and awards presented around midday.
