Corrida Cessonnaise is a local running event in Cesson-Sévigné, France, centered on the Dézerseul area instead of a city-centre road loop. Participants begin on Boulevard Dezerseul, navigate paths around the Dézerseul ponds and through the golf course, and conclude within Roger Bélliard stadium. The schedule includes children’s races ranging from 800 to 1000 metres, followed by 1.6 km and 2.7 km youth races, and 5 km and 10 km distances for older participants.
The 5 km event allows for individual or team participation starting from the minimes age category. The 10 km offers the same options for cadets and older runners. Both licensed and non-licensed individuals are welcome, meaning the competition is open to more than just club athletes. Volunteers from Athétic Club Cessonnais organize the race, and its eighth edition remains a defining characteristic of this relatively new event.
