Corrida de la Riche is a night-time city race in La Riche, run through the streets in the heart of town. It is designed for mixed ages and abilities, featuring a 700 m children’s race, a 2.8 km race for teenagers, and an 8 km race for older runners. A headlamp is required, giving the event a practical after-dark feel instead of a standard daytime road-race setup.
The mood is deliberately playful: runners are encouraged to dress up as superheroes, Christmas reindeer, unicorns, or anything else that fits the party spirit. The field includes casual runners, competitive types, families, and people who mainly come for the atmosphere. Its first edition drew over 500 registered participants across the races, and the event also offers live GPS tracking with a fan zone so friends can follow runners in real time.
