Courir et Marcher à Peynier 2027

Courir et marcher à Peynier takes place at the La Garenne leisure area in Peynier. All timed events, run or walked, follow marked paths and trails. The Peynier Athlétic Club organizes the event with support from the Commune de Peynier. It is part of the Super Challenge FSGT 13. The program includes an 18 km XXS trail with 500 m of elevation gain, an unofficial 11.5 km nature race named La Course en colline, and an 11.5 km Nordic walk called La Peynierenne, suitable for leisure and beginner walkers. The routes utilize the forest tracks surrounding La Garenne, an area the organizers describe as 1,000 hectares of woodland with views of Sainte-Victoire, a mountain associated with Cézanne. PAC has organized the event for nearly thirty years, with the Nordic walk introduced later to complement the running races. The location is convenient for families and clubs, offering parking, restrooms, showers, kiné-osteo services, food trucks, picnic tables, and play areas. A collection for Emmaüs Connect is also being held, encouraging participants to bring used digital devices like smartphones, laptops, or tablets.
