The Course de la Mutterkirche is a small solidarity run and walk in Farschviller, Moselle, France. It takes place in early April with 5 km and 10 km options for runners and walkers. The event is in its third edition and is organized by the local association FunRun57.
The routes traverse the green forests surrounding Farschviller. The 10 km course was reworked for its second edition, featuring a reversed layout and a more challenging final stretch. That edition saw 146 runners and about fifty walkers, with Aymeric Scherer and Sarah Laporte winning the 10 km races. Children’s courses have also been added, contributing to a village sports gathering atmosphere rather than a competition solely for adults focused on times.
