Course du Printemps takes place in late March in Voisins-le-Bretonneux, located in the Yvelines region west of Paris. The event offers several race options instead of a single main event: a 15 km road race, a 6 km road race, a 10 km Nordic walk known as La Marche du printemps, a 2 km race called Les foulées printannières, and races for children and juniors. The 15 km is the most popular, attracting over 500 runners in the last edition, while the 6 km has a smaller field of more than 100 participants.
The routes consist of single loops that combine urban running with natural paths. The elevation changes are moderate: approximately 50 meters of ascent and descent for the 15 km and Nordic walk, and about 32 meters for the 6 km. The 15 km is classified as intermediate, with an expected finish time of around one and a half hours and a reasonably priced entry fee. This event has strong local ties within Île-de-France, having been held for over forty editions, giving it the character of a long-established community race rather than a temporary sporting event.
