The Nature des 2 Vallées trail race takes place in late April in the Rhône department of France’s Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, with its base in Givors. Participants can choose between two off-road distances: a 19 km route and a 11.6 km route, offering a choice between a quicker morning run and a more challenging trail run.
The race begins at the Parc des Sports, winding through the town and onto wilder paths surrounding the two valleys. The 19 km course involves a climb of approximately 440 meters, and the 11.6 km option has about 180 meters of elevation gain. Both routes feature significant hills, distinct from flat park running. The initial edition, organized by the local sports office and the city, attracted 349 registered participants.
