Crapa'Vel is an off-road cycling event in Juillan, focusing on gravel riding, mountain biking, and a walking option instead of a single race format. Registrations have increased significantly, more than doubling from earlier editions to a record 350 participants across seven marked routes.
The event features four gravel routes, two VTT mountain bike routes, and a walk that attracted 65 people. Mountain biking had the largest group with 175 riders, compared to 110 on gravel. One local participant completed the course on a three-wheel recumbent bike. Crapa'Vel was originally gravel-only, but the Crapa'utt club reintroduced VTT circuits to align with the club's founding principles, and these routes are intended to continue. At the finish, participants received galette sausage, fries, and cider.
