Crest DH Urban Race DH URBAN RACE 2026

Riders begin above Crest and descend directly into the old town for the Crest DH Urban Race. This short downhill mountain bike race takes place in Crest, Drôme, within the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. The format combines urban downhill elements with singletrack, featuring a one-kilometre timed run through the city, differing from extended mountain courses. The course navigates cobbled alleys, stairways, sharp drops, and wooden features constructed within the historic centre. Approximately seventy riders commence the descent, with timing critical from the outset as only the twenty quickest advance to the final run. The event is also known as DH Urban Race. Its unique challenge lies in asking riders to manage a downhill bike at speed through confined urban terrain, contrasting with open trails.
