Cross de la Rose is a 4 km charity fun run held in Parc de la Roseraie on Rue Watel in L'Haÿ-les-Roses, south of Paris in Val-de-Marne. Athlé-Club L'Haÿ-les-Roses organizes this event in mid-October, coinciding with Octobre Rose, the French breast cancer awareness month. It is intentionally low-pressure, with no timing or ranking, emphasizing collective movement over competitive results. Entry is 5 euros, with all proceeds donated to the League Against Cancer.
The route remains within a public park, offering participants a brief nature course rather than a road race through the town. Music and small surprises are incorporated into the 4 km course, and information stands about breast cancer are available in the park. This event is suitable for those seeking a relaxed run, a walk with companions, or a family-friendly method to support a cause. Its slogan, "Courir pour la cause, sans se piquer !", reflects the spirit: run for the cause, without taking oneself too seriously.
